Retail Terms and Conditions:

It is our goal to meet all of our customers’ needs. As a wholesale facility, supplying native plants for members of the nursery and restoration trade is our focus, however, we recognize the value of connecting with our retail customers. Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate customers who visit our facility without an appointment. We ask instead that you call ahead with your questions and orders so we can check availability and arrange a time for pick-up. We have designated Retail Pick-up Days to allow retail customers to pick up their plant material. For those of you who prefer to select your plant material in person, we offer the opportunity to shop at our semi-annual Open House /Retail Plant Sale Events. In addition, we offer a selection of our plant material for sale at various Native Plant Sales in the area.

Attention Retail Customers:

Remember, all orders must be placed at least 72 hours before the pick up date. There are two dates most months to ensure you do not miss this exciting opportunity. Pricing and Minimum Purchase:

There is a minimum purchase of $25.00 for each retail order. Our catalog is designed for wholesale customers and therefore reflects wholesale pricing. We offer a discount of 10% for retail orders over $500.00.

Claims:

Because we sell product that is living, it is important that if any plant material delivered by Environmental Concern is not satisfactory, it be reported immediately upon receipt. Claims made after such time cannot be considered. If damaged materials are received from UPS, Federal Express, or other carriers, this damage must be reported to the carriers immediately for their inspection. EC will not be held responsible for the condition of shipments after they leave our premises by carriers other than our own. All such claims must be filed with the carrier. We Do Not Guarantee our plant material beyond the robust quality in which it leaves our nursery.

Delivery and Shipping :

Our truck delivery costs are estimated on the basis of truck size and travel distance, round trip. The customer must provide assistance for unloading plant material. Please call for a quote regarding delivery cost.

Dormant herbaceous plant materials in plugs or quart pots can be packed and shipped by UPS. However, many growing herbaceous plant materials are difficult to ship by UPS. Please call in advance for shipping arrangements.

Dormant and growing tree and shrub seedling plugs can be packed in cartons by the nursery staff and shipped by UPS. All other containerized trees and shrubs shall be delivered by Environmental Concern or picked-up by the customer. Please provide at least 48 hours advance notice.
