Sylvan will also have her book on Invasive Plants: A Guide to Identification, Impacts and Control of Common North American Species of the Northeast to sale and sign. Sylvan received a PhD in Ecology & Evolution from Rutgers University and is the former Conservation Curator at Adkins Arboretum and is presently the chair of the Chesapeake Conservation Landscape Council promoting environmentally-friendly landscaping practices in the Chesapeake Bay Watershed!
