Middle School

The following programming is offered for children in middle school.

 

 

Fall Break Camp (3 - 5)

Kids will play games, catch bugs, and get their feet wet out in the marsh in this two day Fall Break Camp!

Traveling Trunks (K - 6)

The Wetland 101 Trunk lending resource is the perfect hands-on resource to supplement your water related curriculum, specifically wetlands.  The information within the trunks can be adapted for use with grades K-6. Complete instructional information is included

The WOW! Activity Trunk is a lending resource that's perfect for WOW! Facilitators or educators leading a WOW! workshop. The Wonders of Wetlands Activity Trunk includes ready-to-use material sets for leading over 17 of our most popular WOW! activities

Wetland Survivor (grade 4 - 8)

Our Wetland Suvivor program puts physical, mental, and strategic limits to the test. Participants must rely on their wetland knowledge as they compete in field-day style challenges which introduce them to the functions and values of wetlands.

Aquatic Adventure (grade 5 – 10)

Introduces students to wetland ecology, focusing on the concepts of biodiversity and interrelatedness using a comparative study of chemical, physical, and biological water quality indicators collected from salt and fresh marsh systems. For more information please call 410.745.9620 or by email

Winter Ecology (grade 4 - 8)

Field Trip Options

Arrange a Field Trip to visit our wetland learning campus and we can create a custom program to help fit your wetland education needs for all ages.
