Students from Chapel District Elementary explored a freshwater marsh, and a brackish water marsh to discover the healthy ecosystem thriving below the water. They found everything from crabs to dragonfly larvae!

Students used microscopes and viewers to i.d. and catalogue the life they had discovered, and they didn't stop there. From dissecting cattails and crafting boats to investigating soil with augers, the students explored every aspect of the wetland.
